Pile design as per BS eurocode 8

Pile design as per BS eurocode 8

(OP)
Dear all,
I try to figure out how to apply the BS Eurocode 8 in the ULS design of pile.

Eurocde 8 details clearly which partial factor to use for material (section 3.1).

However, i don't find specification regarding the model factor in seismic conditions.

As per the BS NA to eurocode 7, in persistent and transient situations, the model factor is equal to 1.4 (or 1.2 with load tests).

I am wondering if this model factor of 1.4 shall be used also for the seismic conditions?

thank you in advance for your help

Regards

Denis
