LOAD OPTIONS like PRO_LIBRARY_DIR with Wildfire or Creo

(OP)
Hi,

Without any management mode it's possible to optimize search standard component by using variable PRO_LIBRARY_DIR with Wildfire or Creo.

Is there an equivalent with NX8.5 ?

TIA

RE: LOAD OPTIONS like PRO_LIBRARY_DIR with Wildfire or Creo

Dear Didier,
How do we know what and how "Pro_Library_dir" is ?
I have no clue.

RE: LOAD OPTIONS like PRO_LIBRARY_DIR with Wildfire or Creo

You do have the UGII$Lib1 and UGII$Lib2 directory definitions, commonly called the $ and ! diretcories.
The load options file can be set much like the pro_search.pro file.

What are you trying to do in NX that can be done in Creo? There is very little that cannot be programmed into NX to do things easier.

What are the $ & ! Directories?!?!

I've been looking for a way to set up a search path for my library of parts that will work with "Load Options" set to "From Folder"
