Hello,

I have tried the new release of v5, and I become quite happy with it. I have found for example in sketch mode, an auto dimension option, and now variable radius Cordal radius is in the same command.

I would like to see a text option for part design. When it will be applied?

Are you referring to the ability to write 3D text on a part? This is a major oversight in V5. There is a text tool in V6, but not in V5. The answer from Dassault has always been "use Type3". There are several workarounds out there. You could write text in a drawing, export to dxf, then import and copy/paste into a sketch, but the resulting text will be made up of only line segments - not curves. I helped develop another solution - Text Sketcher. It's a plug-in for V5 that allows you to write G1 continuous text in a sketch.

Hello, recently I have visited the dassault website, and I have seen there that the most recent version of catia,is the r24. But I have already the de r25. Why dassault says this in its website? I think that it's already there the r26.

where i can find the new enhancements? i have made a search in dassault web page, and i haven't found it.

RE: Catia v5 r2015

one new good enhancement in r26 is CLA license that enables laser projection for composites. still looks pretty raw product but any way it's a good start.
