Beams Parallel to Precast Hollowcore Planks

How do you feel about steel beams "up in construction" running parallel to precast planks. With precast on both sides.

A few concerns:
1.) Construction - how will they fit the precast in between the beams with beams on all four sides?
2.) Deflection - I would support the precast with an angle in the web of the steel beam but I suppose this part of the floor will deflect differently than the rest.

Has anyone done this?

The issue at hand is a large notch in the exterior wall, which is framed with steel beams.

RE: Beams Parallel to Precast Hollowcore Planks

1) I often use angle web stiffeners at a regular spacing and attach a bearing angle to those rather than the beam web. That takes care of the issue of swinging the planks in.

2) Camber in the plank can make this problematic. Some dry pack grout should get the job done though.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

Thanks Kootk - good idea.
