Constant hydrostatic pressure in elements

Constant hydrostatic pressure in elements

Constant hydrostatic pressure in elements

(OP)
Hello everybody,
I am using a subroutine in which I implement the hydrostatic pressure as a solution dependent variable (STATEV). I need to obtain the gradient of this magnitude within each element.
The problem is that, when I use PLANE STRAIN ELEMENTS, the hydrostatic pressure is the same for each integration point of the element. Thus there is no gradient. This does not occur when I use plane stress elements.
I have read that Hybrid element interpolate independently the hydrostatic pressure to obtain a constant value, but I have not chose those elements.
To sum up, I want to obtain, in plane strain, a different value of the pressure for each integration point within an element. Someone could help me?

Thanks in advanced!
