ANSYS: Code Check

ANSYS: Code Check

ANSYS: Code Check

(OP)
Hi, I am new to this forum and I have a question that could help me complete some tasks. I have a frame structure with beams of various cross sections. I am working out the analysis using ANSYS Workbench and Solidworks Simulation too. My mentor earlier solved such structural problems using STAAD and he performed code checks (AISC 360 Code Check) to determine the safety of the structure. Is is possible to perform these code checks on ANSYS? and how do we do it? Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

RE: ANSYS: Code Check

Check documentation of the software, possibly check in the "Structural" forum.
That capability saves a lot of time if you need it, and I would assume would be prominently advertised if it was included.
Years ago, I used a software package that had the analysis, but the code-checking was a separate module that you could buy or not.
