NFPA 20 - 2013 Cl. 10.4.3.3.1.2

(OP)
The subject clause states that the CB shall not trip when power is interrupted froma running pump (for a minimum of 3sec). This I presume is to ensure that the pump will continue to function after a short time voltage dip in the power system. Hope I am right.
The concern is that Cl. 10.6 permits use of contactors for medium voltage pumps but doesn't stipulate the above requirement of voltage dip ride-therough for MV contactor based controllers.
Is this an anomaly in the standard or am I missing something?
Appreciate your clarification / views.
