Pipe Fitting Design Tool

I am not primarily a designer or modeler. I have some ability when it comes to modeling in NX, but for the most part my job is analysis. There are some cases though where I need to model pipe fittings. For the sake of speed, I would like to put together some code that will prompt for user input and build the pipe fitting for you. That would be a big time saver. Understandably, pipe fittings vary quite a bit; with that in mind building a tool that can model pipe fittings in accuracy can be somewhat complicated.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to approach this? Specifically people who have experience working with pipes.

Thank you

RE: Pipe Fitting Design Tool

Have you looked at the NX Routing applications, particularly the 'Piping and Tubing' option? BTW, what version of NX are you using?

No I haven't looked at those applications. My NX version is 10.0.0.1.4.
