NX 8.5 Drafting Datum Feature Symbol does not move with view

Hi

I have an annoyance with NX 8.5 drafting. When I have attached a Datum Feature Symbol to a Feature Control Frame, the Datum Feature Symbol does not move when the view is moved around on the sheet. This is illustrated in the attached drawing. Is there any setting in NX I'm missing for the symbol to follow the movement of the view?

RE: NX 8.5 Drafting Datum Feature Symbol does not move with view

It appears that the settings inferred a horizontal relationship, but not a vertical one. The next time you place a datum feature symbol, try using only the "stack annotation" option (found in the "alignment" section of the dialog).

To fix the existing symbols, you can use the Edit -> annotation -> origin... command. I'd suggest giving the symbol an associative X,Y offset from the feature frame.

Yeah! It appears to work.

EDIT: Or rather it appears to work some of the time... Still have some of the datums stuck. I think I will fiddle around with these settings to see if I get the desired result.
