wire grounding to an aluminum chassis

wire grounding to an aluminum chassis

wire grounding to an aluminum chassis

(OP)
Hello all, I am the Newbie. I have been active on other automotive Forums but have just found this, and from what I have seen so far, I am hoping to have somewhat more intelligent conversations here. Along that line, here is my first question. When using an aluminum chassis, is the wiring and grounding procedure similar to that of a standard steel chassis? Are there any special considerations for this? Any chassis design would call for 5052 or 6061 but I think the old aluminum house wiring was a 2*** alloy with a copper content. Is this a Factor? I have searched this before with no success. Thanking in advance, any thoughts?
