Help Needed: Auto Populating Title Block

Help Needed: Auto Populating Title Block

Help Needed: Auto Populating Title Block

(OP)
I am trying to use auto populating notes in my title block for the following:

Part Number; Part Description; Date; Revision; Designer; Material; Quantity; Where Used; File Location

I thought attributes would be the way to go, and after a bit of research it seems that that is how other users are linking drafting notes to information within the model. I haven't used attributes in quite this way, so I don't really know what I am doing.
I want the attributes to already be inside my templates so I can:
1. Create a model
2. Fill in the values for the attributes
3. Bring the model into a drawing and have the title block automatically reference those attributes

I'd really like Part Number to be automatically linked to the name of the part file. Is there a string of text and symbols that represent the part name (Like "$PRPSHEET:{PartNo}")?

Could anyone please run me through how to do any/all of this, or send me a helpful link?

Have a look at: https://vimeo.com/album/3065578
It's a set of videos that are about drafting templates and some of the videos cover what you're after.
