Drafting - Copy And Translate

Drafting - Copy And Translate

Drafting - Copy And Translate

(OP)
I am new to CATIA 5. I want to copy and translate a line and some text. So, I opened up a current drawing and I go to "Insert", "Geometry modification", "Transformations" and "Translate". The Translate function asks for the geometry I want to translate, and I pick it. And, I pick the text I want to copy and translate, also.

But, then I don't know what to do to exit out of the menu so I can pick the point I want to translate from and to.

Or, am I in the wrong function to do this?

Thanks,

RE: Drafting - Copy And Translate

1. pick the geometry and text to translate first,
2. then select the translate command
3. select the Duplicate option and number of copies
4. select the reference point
5. select the go-to point
