Hi,
You can resize your menus as you mentioned and then save a role (with SAVE DIALOG MEMORY). next time when you repoen your NX session the menus should come as you set them as.

This does not seem to work well for those "in-context" menus...

What ever you do, you will end-up with clicking on the role which you have to make whenever your menu is screwed.

The "single horizontal strip" is the default format for 'Shortcut Toolbars'.

Maybe time for an improvement on the next GUI, John? - That is real pain in the wrist at the end of the day going from left to right when one has a huge customization set on those productve toolbars...
