NX 9.0 Drafting - Changing Color JPEG B&W

NX 9.0 Drafting - Changing Color JPEG B&W

(OP)
I imported a JPEG that is mostly B&W. There are parts of it that is in color. Is there a way, in UG, to export a PDF that is totally B&W? So far, every time I have exported a PDF of the print, the JPEG still has color. Or, do I have to make the JPEG B&W outside of UG first? If so, what program do you recommend?

Thanks,

You will probably get the best results if you convert the file before importing it to NX. If you want pure black & white, you can use MS paint to save it as a monochrome bitmap file. If you would like a greyscale image, you can open it in "photo gallery" and in the edit -> effects menu apply a black and white filter.

Other, popular & free imaging programs include gimp, paint.net, and irfanview.

In addition to the above, if you have Acrobat Pro available to you, it can do a decent job of editing images in this manner. I only mention it because it might be overlooked in what all it can actually do.
