LISP from AutoCAD 14 to 2000

LISP from AutoCAD 14 to 2000

We are encountering problems in getting AutoLISP routines that we have used in R14 to work properly in 2000.  Is there a site, or conversion program where I can get more information on correcting this conflict to make our lisp routines compatible in 2000??  All help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RE: LISP from AutoCAD 14 to 2000

You should have the migration assistance installed.  If you don't have it installed, it should be on the ACAD installation CD.  One of the utilities is the "Autolisp Compatability Analyzer".  It checks autolisp routines from r14 for compatability and suggests changes that may be required.

When we updated to ACAD 2000, we installed the program from a network server.  During the install, the installers were asked if they wanted to do a migration.  They answered no, out of a concern that the r14 program would be overwritten or corrupted in some way.  Is there a way to still run this program from the server to do this LISP routine check, and/or will running this migration interfere with the r14 version we want to be able to continue to run simultaneously?  All assistance is appreciated.

We figured out the problems...AutoCAD 2000 is a lot more sensitive about programming errors (where R14 will overlook the problem, 2000 will not even load the LISP routine), and seems to be case sensitive in relation to block names.  These issues the Migration Assistant will not pick up.  Thanks for all the assistance.
