Extra line fonts

(OP)
Hello everyone!

Can we add extra user-defined line fonts to the out-of-the-box fonts? I think we can only replace existing ones - or am I wrong?

RE: Extra line fonts

Users can NOT add ADDITIONAL line fonts or widths to the existing set.

RE: Extra line fonts

If you need to put a strange line font in but it doesn't need to be associated (You don't need to dimension to it or have it connected to anything else), but you just need it for visual purposes, you might look into making a line with multiple lines and creating a symbol out of it. Then you could add the symbol to the drafting sheet and double click it to make it different scales or rotate it.

One flaw with this however would be that when you change the scale to change its length, any dashes or whatever in the line would change size as well.

Just trying to think outside the box for something that might help. clown
