Hello Everyone

As per ASME sec.VIII div.1 Edition 2015 clause UCS-66(f) " Materials having a specified minimum yield strength greater than 65 ksi (450Mpa) shall be impact tested. However, they may be used at temperatures colder than minimum design metal temperature as limited in (1) and (2) below." There are two condition after that.

So in this new edition do they restrict the excemption limit for MDMT to -104°C. ?

I dont need to Impact test if it pass in either two condition!!...Am i understanding it right???

Thanks.
