ETAP arc-flash label question

ETAP arc-flash label question

ETAP arc-flash label question

(OP)
When I use ETAP custom label template, I was trying to insert a "User_Defined_Text". But it doesnt seem to link to any of the component setting. Please see the attached snapshot.

None of the user defined field I can find works for the arc-flash label. Spent all night on-line with no luck.

Any advise is appreciated.

RE: ETAP arc-flash label question

Exactly what are you asking about? Yes, User Defined but what specifically? Wise crack answer could be draw a better circle....Please be specific in your question.

RE: ETAP arc-flash label question

ETAP allows to add "User_Defined_Text" into the Arc-Flash label, if you use custom template. This can be anything not automatically available from the model. Let's say I want to show a upstream equipment name(not source PD ID)
I could manually type in that as ""User_Defined_Text"" and insert that info as shown in the first picture.

The second picture is all the custom field I can find, but unfortunately not linked to "User_Defined_Text"

RE: ETAP arc-flash label question

finally figured out "User_Defined_Text" is not a part of the component properties. It's actually come with the arc-flash category description.

Thanks for reading.
