Phase voltage to earth ground
Phase voltage to earth ground
(OP)
I cant remember the formula to determine phase to ground voltages in three phase systems, for example a 3 ph. 4160 system.
When was the last time you drove down the highway without seeing a commercial truck hauling goods?

RE: Phase voltage to earth ground
Assuming that it is a wye system that has 4160 volts phase to phase, the phase to grounded neutral voltage would be 2400 volts. You get that by taking the 4160 and dividing by the square root of 3 to obtain 2400.
