Vis Professional vs. Mockup

Vis Professional vs. Mockup

(OP)
Hi folks,

I'm very familiar with Vis Mockup having used it in several previous roles. My current employer is looking to invest in a supplier integration package comprising Tc and Vis Professional. I'm not so familiar with Vis Pro, what features does it lack in comparison to Mockup?

Thanks!

RE: Vis Professional vs. Mockup

Hi Dave,
I have worked on mock-up only but not professional. However to my understanding these are the plus for Mock-up.
(1) Mock-up contains Motion Playback enabling detection of interference dynamically.
(2) Neutral file support including VRML and STL ,STEP,IGES and DXF.
(3) Clearance analysis tools (static and dynamic) are more extensive
(4) Advance filtering capabilities that enable search on part attributes and properties to control geometry displays.
(5) Volume clipping inside/Outside of a cuboid.

Offcourse there can be some more but i am aware of these only.

Would be good some expert elucidating on the same.
Best Regards
Kapil
