Scan conversion
Scan conversion
(OP)
Hi,
I got a scan file from which I need to create a full parametric model.
The current geometry can't be selected (I tried to create a plane).
What would be the best approach in order to create a parametric part?
Thanks,

I am very curious about your and others opinion in this matter.

RE: Scan conversion
I believe that this topic is not an easy one for anybody.
At the moment, the only option seems to be a design that matches the picture (I wouldn't name it geometry) as close as possible.
Any other ideas?....

This blog might be a better fit because I fit NURBS geometry to the head of the femur.
