Flat slab as part of moment resisting system

Flat slab as part of moment resisting system

Flat slab as part of moment resisting system

(OP)
Hello,

If i have flat slab ,that is part of frame moment resisting system,no beams. And I would like to design the flat slab with columns as part of lateral force resisting system.
the procedure is like the following
1:I define all load combination in the software
2:I design the column strip and middle strip as normal
3:So The steel needed of the column strip will present the frame resisting system
4:Regarding the stirrups ,do I need to put minimum stirrups as per code requirements in beams(strip column)

The Moment frame resisting system is Ordinary frame ,ACI 318 Code

Please your guide is appreciated

Regards
