Lateral Force Resisting System

Lateral Force Resisting System

Lateral Force Resisting System

(OP)
Dear All

I have small villa that has mainly columns with dimensions 20x50,25x50,20,60

Two Floors

the slab is flat slab ,with some beams here and there (say like 50% of beams exist between columns(I am comparing with case of full beams system))

So the system is not moment frame system, however I can Consider the column strip of the 20 cm flat slab as moment frame and design it and give it the required details. Is this possible?and even thought it will be difficult.

So is it possible to consider all the columns shear walls(piers in etabs) ,but ACI318-2014 say the shear walls should be(length =3*width), and here I don't have this?

So what shall I consider?

Thanks
