my company just got a fbb robot welder and I have been elected to program it so far my biggest problem is warped metal it is either raised or lowered at the point of welds is there a trick or some command to comp for this like I said im new to this and have very limited knowledge

RE: new to robotics

ABB probably has sensors available to follow the contour. Look on YouTube.

Other than that, spend a lot of time on the phone with ABB, your boss for not getting you trained, and maybe brush up your resume as buying a complex tool without training or determining suitability for the job seems like a recipe for a failed company.
