Column Loads 4-Story Parking Garage

Column Loads 4-Story Parking Garage

(OP)
Hello,
Trying to make a rough settlement estimate without much project info in Southern California.
Any ideas on typical column loads for a 4-Story Parking Garage (Dead and Dead + Live)?
How about the ground floor (6" concrete slab + Live load from passenger cars)?
Thanks!

RE: Column Loads 4-Story Parking Garage

Assuming precast concrete framing:

1) DL = 125 psf
2) LL = 50 psf
3) Column spacing = 30 ft

I'll leave it to your imagination to contemplate the multitude of disclaimers that would normally accompany this kind of rough advice.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

Thanks, I received preliminary info from the structural.

Sweet. How good were my guesses?

Column load = 500 Kips, 20-foot spacing
