No assembly selection

No assembly selection

(OP)
Dumb question here but I can't seem to find the what toggle was switched. I have two sub assemblies and I'm trying to join them to a larger assembly and now I can only select the component. No faces or edges are being selected. The filter is set to "No Selection Filter" and "Entire Assembly". I've rebooted the machine and started a new assembly model and same results. I must have inadvertently toggled something but for the life of me have no idea what it was or how to correct. Help please!

RE: No assembly selection

Swale,
If you can just hover your mouse on the component and wait for few seconds, you will have a 3 dots under ur mouse.
Then after clicking your mouse MB3, you will have a list of edge, faces and components coming in selection range.
Go through each face/edge/component and make a selection.

Hope following jpeg could help you.
