gravel driveway cover?

I'm looking for a material that might go on top of a gravel driveway for use as a basketball court. I'd prefer not to install a permanent solution. Any ideas much appreciated.

RE: gravel driveway cover?

I used to have a small court made from PT 4x4 sleepers and 3/4 plywood. It was very nice.

RE: gravel driveway cover?

You have the option of sand setting (.5 to 1 in concrete sand) paving stones or slabs to produce a temporary pavement.  You would need to install a peripheral edge restraint to contain the pavement(which would be spiked into the base material).  Once your needs have been met, you can take to pavement out, either install it elsewhere or sell it to a neighbor for a patio.
