Turn off cross section lines?

Turn off cross section lines?

Turn off cross section lines?

(OP)
Where can I turn off the cross sectional cut away lines? I know there has to be a better term than "cut-away lines". I have a drawing where there are multiple parts shown in a simple cross section, these cut-away lines become cumbersome when dealing with numerous parts.

Thanks...

Wai

RE: Turn off cross section lines?

Are you asking how to remove the cross hatching from a section view?  If so, you can change the spacing of the cross hatching to a very large value, say 1000.  I know this is tedious , and there may be an easier method, but it works.

Yes, that is what I am aiming to do. Thanks for the advice.

RE: Turn off cross section lines?

Waiwiliki,

Another method is to select Excl Comp from the modify xhatch menu. This will turn off the cross hatching lines for a selected part and is available in assembly mode or drawing mode when a view of an assembly with a cross section has been created.
