RE: How to open a *.CATPart from *.zip?

Hi,

First you have to unzip the *.zip file in a temporary folder. After that you can open with CATIA.

Zip is the extension for a software which make an archive for different files (doesn't metter how big they are).

You can download an evalution copy from www.winzip.com

Fernando

I'm using V5R6, and after unzipped & saved the *.CATPart file, and opened Catia, I tried to OPEN the file saved already, but CATIA closed itself.
...the *.zip done with V5R6 (see...Telechargement)
...if I double click on the *.CATPart file, Catia try to open and again disappear ...

Thanks for help and your time,
Daniel

Hi DannyNC,

it's a bizarre problem !

you can delete your CATSettings and retry !

You know the version of files in question ?

It would not be a problem of date of files with regard to the date of the machine ?

else I don't see !

have fun ...
