Has this happened to anybody??

Has this happened to anybody??

Has this happened to anybody??

(OP)
Has anybody had their individual part or parts of an assembly stuck in the hide mode. I hid a few parts, and now no matter what I do, they wont show. I tried all the usual stuff. Any Ideas?????

RE: Has this happened to anybody??

can you see the parts if you open them in their own window?

what was the "usual stuff" you tried?

Did you try the Graphic Properties Wizard to find out what is causing the part/assembly to be hidden?

Yes the funny thing is that I opened each individual part in its own window, and they were ALL in the hide space. I know I did not put them there, but when I returned them to the show space in the individual windows, and re-saved, then I could go in the assy, and get my parts back..... Strange.

RE: Has this happened to anybody??

not your case. once i forgot to run recognize in sheet metal and then i pressed unfold. so part disappeared. took a lot of time to get what's going on. i even was thinking about reinstalling catia.

RE: Has this happened to anybody??

This will happen when you select directly on the Geometry and utilize the Hide/Show command. Doing so, will hide the geometry at the feature level in the Specification tree instead of the Instance level as would happen when selecting from the tree. If you wanted to hide at the instance level, you can utilize the 'Products Selection' mode while picking objects from the geometry window.
