How to stop lines from showing through shaded geometry in a drawing view?
How to stop lines from showing through shaded geometry in a drawing view?
(OP)
Hi everyone,
I am trying to create an isometric view of a new test chamber with the 2D surrounding floor layout. However, when the view is created, some floor layout lines remain visible through the shaded geometry even if the view style "fully shaded" is selected.
Is there a setting that would allow some sort of "true shading" in a drafting view? Basically the same representation as you see when looking in the modelling application.
regards,
Etienne

I can think of VIEW DEPENDENT EDIT only at this point of time to achieve it.

Open the tab Hidden Lines and toggle ON the Include Model Curves.
( The hidden Lines setting should be set to Invisible)
There is sadly no more artistic view representation in Drafting than the one you are using.
If you want better / higher quality you have to create an Image in Modeling and add it to the drawing as an image.
