Spacecraft Seat Emergency Load Conditions

Spacecraft Seat Emergency Load Conditions

(OP)
Good afternoon, everyone.
I am familiar with the aircraft seat emergency landing conditions set forth in 14 CFR 25.562, and I was just wondering if there are similar load conditions or dynamic tests that spacecraft seats are subject to by the FAA, NASA, or other regulatory body.

Thanks!

RE: Spacecraft Seat Emergency Load Conditions

Google 'FAA manned spacecraft certification' or 'NASA manned spacecraft certification'

This is likely embedded in the certification regulations, both agencies.

Regards, Wil Taylor
