Feeling complicated with this small model... pls help
(OP)
Here i have attached two files one is image which i wanted to do model, and other is CATPart which i have tried
there is sheet of size 250*250mm and there are two 90 Degree bends both on same side of size 100mm, as you can see in CATPart file i have created, but when you measure the distance between center of bend to edge of wall its slightly reduced, not only that all dimensions are reduced when you measure it from bend center, How can i achieve this??
Pls Help me..
Note :The dimension are measured by center of bend as you can see in image

If you want to dimension the part from the bend, you have to build it from the bend line: use the "bend from flat" option with a line in a sketch at 100mm from the edge (just like your drawing).

I think the k-factor has to be 0.5 for the part to be the same length folded/unfolded.

As itsmyjob told i tried by bend from flat command but still there is difference in dimension and even i tried to very k factor from 0.1-0.9 but no result
can anyone model it and upload?
Here is what i tried by bend from flat

change k-factor in sheet metal parameters not in operation.
this reminds me b757 program i worked on awhile ago. FD and dimensions from edge to axis line thats all. well got no UR's from the customer.
you have to play with options. if you use btl then you get 100mm flange but if you unfold your part dimension will be like 97mm or so.
figure out what takes precedence 3d or FD.
