good evening!

I would like know, if a method exists to determine the capacity of the seal water system.

I know the output temperature ( set-point)
and I also know the pressure and the input temperature.

thanks!

RE: calculate of seal water system.

will depend on what you need, is it for seal flushing or seal cooling - is it packed gland or mechanical seal.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

well, I need to seal cooling and it's a mechanical seal type labyrinth seal

RE: calculate of seal water system.

The best method is to discuss your needs with the pump manufacturer in conjunction with the seal manufacturer - who better to advise you on the best solution?
