Local panel for ductless mini split

Local panel for ductless mini split

(OP)
Hi guys,

Is it possible to provide single power and control panel for multiple ductless mini split units? (not VRF).

I have around 10 small electrical buildings with mini split AC units, I want single power and control panel for each building for the HVAC.

RE: Local panel for ductless mini split

If you want to simplify, just buy wireless controllers with mini-splits, and all you need it to connect to power supply.

RE: Local panel for ductless mini split

I suggest you talk to your local rep about options.
Mitsubishi has a lot of documentation, but it can be overwhelming and not every controller option is readily visible to the untrained eye.

Regarding Drazen's wireless suggestion, make sure the actual receiver is powered by each indoor unit and doesn't rely on batteries. Split manufacturer seem to do a lot with batter powered remotes, this is a hassle as you always run out of battery. We have many of them, and this is what occupants (in fire stations etc.) tell me is most annoying. I'm also a bit suspicious of inferences, range etc. i never used one of their wireless (i.e. redlink) systems, but if possible prefer wired.
