Etab aLogarithm for Shear Calculations

(OP)
Hello guys,

according to etab design manual it is clear that for both special and intermediate frames the shear will be calculated on M1+M2/L+ Vd+L
and in ordinary it will be based on factored load only without considering the shear for capacity design.

Actually ,i took one example ( fixed beam, one span only),and i found that shear result is the same as factored load and not related to the capacity design although i change it form between ordinary and special frame.

Note: longitudinal steel reinforcement may change ,but shear links don't.

so is there any think i didn't catch ??
