hi,
QW-433 Alternative F-numbers for welder performance qualification.
when qualified with F6, is qualified for all F6 ( per QW-433) means qualified for with and without backing?

No. QW-433 has nothing to do with backing. It groups filler metals (electrodes).

You can't cherry pick in QW-400. You should only go there when directed by QW-200 or QW-300.

QW 402.4 governs whether the welder is qualified with or without backing.
QW 433 gives "Alternative" F numbers but places additional limitations on these alternatives - with/without backing.
