Temperature analysis for Reinforced Concrete Buildings

(OP)
Hello,

I am new to the concept of temperature design and analysis, and I think all expansion joint are meant to solve this problem,
.Actually I want to understand the theory of this and practice as well, but I don't know where to start with this

Any suggestion and please be specific in reference since I don't want to be scientist in this just to understand it as a designer

I think American and British standards are best to refer to since they are used in Dubai.

Regards

RE: Temperature analysis for Reinforced Concrete Buildings

Try looking up ACI 224.3r. It's got some good information to go by.
