Hi guys,
when I create a flat pattern drawing in CATIA the bend lines and annotations do not shown up when I create a view using the flat pattern view tool. how do I get these to show up? your help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Bend lines and Anotations

run catia in admin mode and edit the standard.

which standard is it? I'm in my drafting category and using my customized standard .xml file

RE: Bend lines and Anotations

You will need to focus on 'Generative View Style' instead of the drafting standards. There is a number of display settings that can be customized for Sheet Metal flat pattern views. After setting one of these up, you will need to make a change to Mechanical > Drafting > Administration tab and disable the 'Dsiable Generative View Style usage' option in Tools > Options.

in the properties of the view you can check the Axis option, this will give you the bending line.
