Fire-Treated Service Factor?

Fire-Treated Service Factor?

(OP)
NDS provides a Wet Service Factor.

Is there a Fire-Treated Factor for plywood or other lumber? I don't see it in NDS.

Thank you!

RE: Fire-Treated Service Factor?

The APA may have info on that. Check ESR 2586.

RE: Fire-Treated Service Factor?

I believe it is manufacturer dependent, but I'm not totally sure. I've only seen small reductions in shear and tension before and no reduction to bending or compressive stresses.
