Packing common components grouped by an attribute?

Packing common components grouped by an attribute?

Packing common components grouped by an attribute?

(OP)
Ok, i have a large assembly, with 87 of a certain part number nut. They're in 3 groups. 80 go together, 2 go together, and 5 go together. They're separated by certain component attributes, which define (among other things) what subsystem owns the hardware. I have columns showing in the assembly navigator which allow me to see these attributed.

But, when i "pack" the part number list, i only get 1 "pack" of 87 nuts. The attributes columns seem to show only the attributes of the most common part (the qty 80)

Is there any way to get this to pack to 3 different groups?
<Part number> x 80
<Part number> x 2
<Part number> x 5

Thanks,
Mike

Well, since nobody has responded, i assume that means it's not possible?

Anybody have any suggestions of alternate ways to do this?

RE: Packing common components grouped by an attribute?

Have you tried setting Assemblies -> Preferences -> Descriptive Part Name Style to Specified Attribute. See attached image.
