Acceptance criteria for PQR and qualification

Acceptance criteria for PQR and qualification

Acceptance criteria for PQR and qualification

(OP)
Dear Sir,
Anyone help me to explain RT acceptance criteria for pqr and welder per aws d1.1, the statement only refer to section 6 part C, while it has some kínds of category,
4.9.2.1 RT or UT. Either RT or UT shall be used.
The entire length of the weld in test plates, except the discard lengths at each end, shall be examined in conformance with Clause 6, Part E or F. For tubulars, thefull circumference of the completed weld shall be examined in conformance with Clause 6, Part C.
Thanks

RE: Acceptance criteria for PQR and qualification

Go with the criteria specified for cyclically loaded in tension. It is rather conservative. If it passes the RT criteria, it should pass the reduced section tensile tests and the guided bend tests.

Best regards - Al

Could you help me, which para in d1.1 say that? I'd like to refer this

RE: Acceptance criteria for PQR and qualification

I think you will find the paragraph in D1.1's index under Cyclically loaded structures.
