According to the asme 2013 edition, ASME revision become mandatory six months after such date of issuance. However, I couldn't find the sentence in asme 2015 edition. Anybody knows when the asme 2015 edition become mandatory?

Thanks!

This requirement used to be described in the Foreword to the Code. When ASME went to biennial publication (2-year Edition cycle) a few years ago the requirement was moved to new Mandatory Appendix 43 "Establishing Governing Code Editions and Cases for Pressure Vessels and Parts".

Before you start using the new code edition you also need to make sure that the jurisdiction you are working in has also adopted the new addition into force.
