Beam stress for specified tip-deflection in Abaqus 6.14

Beam stress for specified tip-deflection in Abaqus 6.14

(OP)
I am trying to verify a simple bending stress calculation and cannot get the beam stress to match a simple MC/I bending stress calculation. The beam cross section is a hollow box with (all dims in inches) height=0.125, outside width=1, inside width=0.75 and inside height 0.020. So basically it is a rectangular cross section 0.125 tall and 1 wide with a hollow interior measuring 0.020 tall and 0.75 wide. The beam is 6" long. See attached photo of the beam. https://res.cloudinary.com/engineering-com/image/upload/v1441646939/tips/beam_overview_k2f7bg.tiff

I used a B32 quadratic beam element. I have fixed one end of the beam (U1, U2, U3, UR1, UR2, UR3=0). I have a displacement BC of U2=-0.5 at the free end. I get a bending stress of about 1172 psi (tensile side of cross section) when calculating by hand. I get a BEAM_STRESS S11 of about 932 psi in Abaqus. I have attached a copy of the file..... Anyone have any ideas?
