My Thread Archive

(OP)
I hope this is an acceptable topic for this forum.

Within the Eng-Tips Forum, when go to the upper right corner, I click on "My Stuff", then "My thread Archive" and the page says, "BSVBD has no archived threads".

1. How do I archive?
2. Is there a "Help" page within this forum?
3. Am I allowed to archive other peoples threads that I find useful?
4. Within threads, many people use the term "OP". What does that stand for?
5. If this is the wrong topic for this forum, where do I go for this type of help?

Thank you!

RE: My Thread Archive

  1. There is a button right above the "Reply To This Thread" button that will put a thread in your archive.
  2. There are some FAQ on ways to improve your experience in the forum. People put links to the FAQ in their signature, I don't have the links handy.
  3. You absolutely can archive any thread you want. I have several threads archived and none of them are threads I started.
  4. OP = Original Post or Original Poster
  5. This is a fine place to ask these questions.
