The question is a bit confusing, can you try rephrasing it? '...this slide over..? What do you call slide over, the carrying bar? The strip(s) look to me on top of the carrying bar, not in the carrying bar.

I "think" that you're looking at a detail image of the top of a plate HX, with the rollers and upper rails being built that way to allow them to move apart and separate the plates from each other for cleaning and replacement.

Sorry that I confused you. I was asking the name of those two strip in carrying bar over which the roller would roll..
