nx9 posting issue

(OP)
Hi everyone, we recently upgraded from NX6 to NX9 and have noticed when we post our NC programs to various machines the post is changing our feed rates to IPM (G94) instead of our programmed IPR (G95) for all the rapid moves (it changes it back to G95 when the feed rate kicks in). Not really an issue for the rapid moves but now we have noticed the same thing on a deep drill cycle (G83) except it doesnt change back to IPR with the feed rate. We program everything in IPR but when a deep drill cycle posted the output was in IPM and with a feed rate of .003 inches per minute, instead of inches per rev, we suspect our machinists are going to be complaining. so has anyone else noticed this? Is this something we need to change in our post processors or ? Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

RE: nx9 posting issue

There were several changes to rapid output modes in NX8.
Did you try opening and saving your post in Post Builder 9?
If that does not fix it, I would review the CAM sections of the Product Notes and what's new guides for NX 7.5, 8, 8.5, and 9; and if you don't see something there, contact GTAC.
