Problem with abaqus model - Instalation of reinforced concrete pile in ground

Hello everyone.
I've got problem with my abaqus model of instalation reinforced concrete pile in ground.

I've tried a lot of options but there is still the same problem- Pile goes down about 2 meters (have to 10 meters) and then he stops.
I've checked units, mesh, bc's and it's still does not work. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I am working with student version.

Can you help me ?
Thanks a lot of any replies and sorry for my english :)

RE: Problem with abaqus model - Instalation of reinforced concrete pile in ground

Hi,
How did you drive the displacement? Was it a boundary condition? I would take a look at the .cae but I dont have Abaqus cae installed.

I'm guessing now but a forced displacement of 3.333 mm, amplitude tabulated 0, 0; 0, 1, step time 3 seconds. Shouldn't that result in 10 mm displacement in 3 seconds?

Let us know. :) Good luck.

Yes, it was boundary condition. Here you are:

Amplitude is tabulated - look at attachment.

Force is 118,2 kN and it grows in time to 205,2kN.

Hm. Is that means that my mesh is too big ? I'm working with student version and it's the smallest mesh that i can use.
