Metric and Imperial threads in a Design Table

Metric and Imperial threads in a Design Table

Metric and Imperial threads in a Design Table

(OP)
I've been trying to add a design table to a model that has both metric and imperial threads in several configurations. I've searched both Eng-Tips and the web without satisfying results. Maybe somebody has been through this before and can help...

The part is a simple weldment with several slots and holes for motor mounting. The motor mounting pattern is configured for various size motors. I modeled the part with separate metric and imperial thread features and suppress/unsuppress an needed per the specific configuration. The model will turn the proper threads on or off appropriately per the assigned config. After I got the model to work correctly, I performed an automatic design table insert and get only the metric threads column showing up in the table although the imperial thread state columns (s/u) will be correctly flagged. Is there a way I can get a column to show up in the table for the imperial threads? I have pull down menus for the metric but the menu doesn't display the imperial threads - as expected. I have attached an Excel copy of the design table if that will help. I there's any other information that'll help, I can upload whatever is necessary. It seems to me we should be able to do this...

FYI - I've been working with Solidworks since 2001, currently running SW 2014 Premium x64, SP3.0

Thanks - Dave
