ANyone have experience with MIT calc weld calcluator?

i'm designing a frame and the trial verson i have seems to help out. just wondering how if I can know the calcs are good to use?

Why not compare hand calcs of a sample weld joint against the result you get from the "free trial version" of the software for the same weld joint?
